West Windsor Pond !

It is now 3 months. Since the day, I landed at Windsor Pond, in the course of my morning walks and evening strolls, I have covered almost every nook and corner nearby but for one big pond. This unattended pond is hidden behind a dense forest just one kilometer from my home. I found one or two ingress but they were heavily laden with dropping leaves. I did not venture for fear of some reptiles getting hurt and enraged. The Windsor Pond society encounters snakes very frequently.
Yesterday, again I was hovering around the eastern side of the pond adjoining the park. I heard voices. Suddenly, I saw two kids coming out of the trees. They had colored water guns loaded with plain water. They were showering each other. Our eyes met. They told they had filled the water from the pond. They assured me that it was quite safe to go to the pond. They took me to the bank. The pond was bigger than a football ground.

This pond is going to keep me busy for the remaining days of my stay. I have heard that this pond is the habitat of long necked ducks and is visited by migrating birds during winter.  I find the nature and the naturals more harmonious.
